Summer 2025 CSA shares are available. We pro-rate the price for share deliveries starting after the beginning of the season. We deliver summer vegetable shares through October 22.
You may order online. Credit cards or electronic checks are accepted.
If you prefer to mail a check, please use this order form. If paying by check, please get in touch and we’ll let you know the pro-rated cash prices if starting after May 7.
We deliver to 6 locations in the Kansas City area, and in St. Joseph.

Summer vegetable share deliveries began Wednesday, May 7 and continue weekly through Wednesday, October 22, for 25 total vegetable share deliveries.
The CSA also has chicken shares (8 birds delivered over the summer), turkey share (Thanksgiving turkey delivered in early November), egg shares (delivered every other Wednesday), beef shares (1/8 steer up to a side), lamb shares (whole animal) and honey shares 6 pints over the summer, delivered once a month).
A partial share is good variety and quantity for 1 to 2 people; a full share works well for 4 to 5 people. Not sure about the quantity? Splitting a share with family or friends works well.

The farmers send a newsletter with each delivery. We post to the Fruitful Hills Facebook page. Our newsletters provide a good look at the farming practices used by the CSA farmers. In addition, each newsletter includes a description of the items in that week’s share, and a recipe.
