Summer 2023 Vegetable Shares Available at 2022 Price

Summer 2023 CSA shares are available now. Vegetable shares for the summer season are priced the same as 2022. Deliveries begin Wednesday, May 3.

You may order online. Credit cards or electronic checks are accepted.

Summer vegetable share deliveries begin Wednesday, May 3 and continue weekly through Wednesday, October 18, for 25 total vegetable share deliveries.

The CSA also has chicken shares (8 birds delivered over the summer), turkey share (Thanksgiving turkey delivered in early November), beef shares, lamb shares, and honey shares (8 pints over the summer, delivered once a month).

A partial share is good variety and quantity for 1 to 2 people; a full share works well for 4 to 5 people. Not sure about the quantity? Splitting a share with family or friends is a good way to start out.

Here’s a list of the items sent each week over a previous summer season for both partial shares and full shares.

The farmers send a newsletter with each delivery. We post those to the Fruitful Hills Facebook page. Reading the newsletters gives a good look at the farming practices used by the CSA farmers. In addition, each newsletter includes a description of the items in that week’s share, and a recipe using items in the share.
